Lumecca® IPL can safely and effectively treat a variety of pigmentation and vascular concerns on the face and body.
Rosacea and redness
Rosacea and redness treatments help reduce flushing, diffuse redness, inflammation, and visible capillaries to improve overall skin tone and sensitivity. Patients with rosacea often notice a brighter, calmer complexion and fewer visible vascular changes over time.
Sunspot and hyperpigmentation
Sun spot and pigmentation treatments target areas of excess pigment including age spots, freckles, and sun damage commonly found on the face, chest, shoulders, arms, and hands. The light energy breaks apart unwanted pigment, allowing the body to naturally clear discoloration for a more even skin tone.
Vascular lesions
Vascular lesion treatments focus on reducing visible blood vessels, cherry angiomas, broken capillaries, and other superficial vascular concerns. Lumecca® precisely targets vascular irregularities while minimizing damage to surrounding skin.

During your consultation, we will review your medical history, current skincare regimen, skin type, and treatment goals to ensure Lumecca® is safe and appropriate for you.
Consultation: Your appointment will begin with a personalized skin assessment by Ashley our nurse practitioner or Dr. K who will create a customized treatment plan
Treatment: Lumecca® delivers intense light pulses to target pigment and vascular irregularities in the skin, preserving surrounding tissue. Patients describe the sensation as a quick warm snap. Treatments are generally well tolerated and quick, with treatment time varying based on the size and number of areas.
3. Post-care guidance: areas of pigmentation may temporarily darken before flaking. Mild redness, warmth, or swelling may occur, especially with rosacea or vascular concerns, and usually resolves in a few hours to days. Avoid direct sun exposure and wear daily sunscreen. Also, avoid excessive heat, strenuous exercise, and active skincare products for several days while the skin recovers.
-
Results begin: 1-2 weeks as pigment clears and vascular redness improves
Full results: Patients often notice brighter skin, improved tone, reduced redness, and a clearer complexion after a few sessions. For rosacea and vascular concerns, multiple treatments are recommended for optimal improvement and long-term redness control. Sun spots and pigmentation respond quickly, with many lesions fading as the skin heals.
Longevity: With proper skincare and maintenance treatments, Lumecca® IPL can provide long-lasting improvement in pigmentation, redness, vascular lesions, and overall skin clarity. Touch up sessions are typically done annually.
“She truly runs this business with the intent to make women feel beautiful again in their own skin, empowering them with her kindness. I haven’t met all the women who work here but I know that the mission is not just injections it’s to restore love for ourselves and beauty once again. This is not an operation that just takes the money and pumps you full of filler and sends you on your way. She levels with you, listens and makes you see the beauty in yourself before any procedure and will most definitely tell you if something is not needed.”
