Glow Haus MD provides two skin resurfacing treatment options: SkinPen® Microneedling and Morpheus8®.

SkinPen® Microneedling

SkinPen® Microneedling creates controlled microchannels in the skin to stimulate collagen production, improve circulation, and boost product absorption. It’s ideal for maintaining youthful skin, enhancing radiance, refining pores, and preventing early signs of aging. Treatments start at $300 for the face, with packages available for added value.

Morpheus8® Radiofrequency Microneedling

Morpheus8® is an advanced skin remodeling treatment that targets deeper skin layers to tighten tissue, improve structure, and smooth aging signs. It’s effective for fine lines, acne scarring, deeper wrinkles, lower face laxity, jawline definition, and neck tightening. Regenerative add-ons can enhance healing and collagen remodeling. Face treatments start at $850, with additional packages available. Body treatments are also available and can be discussed in consultation.

Skin Resurfacing Enhancements

At Glow Haus MD, skin resurfacing treatments like SkinPen® and Morpheus8® can be significantly enhanced with regenerative add-ons that improve healing, boost collagen response, and elevate overall skin quality. These advanced therapies work at a cellular level to support faster recovery, brighter skin, and more optimal long-term results.

• Plasma: natural regenerative treatment derived from your own blood with concentrated platelets, growth factors, and fibrin. Cost $150 per session

• VAMP: nutrient-rich regenerative cocktail designed to nourish the skin combining a blend of vitamins, amino acids, minerals, and peptides to support collagen synthesis, improve hydration and enhance skin vitality. Cost $150 per syringe

• PDRN: a powerful DNA-derived ingredient from salmon DNA, stimulates cellular repair and tissue regeneration, supporting faster wound healing after resurfacing treatments. Cost $250 per session

• Exosomes: advanced ethically-derived cellular messenger from umbilical stem cells that communicate directly with skin cells to promote repair, regeneration and anti-inflammatory healing. Cost $500 per session.

• PDGF: highly concentrated growth factor that plays a key role in tissue repair by stimulating fibroblast activity, accelerates healing and improves skin overall texture and firmness. Cost is $500 per session.

To ensure the best results and minimize bruising, we recommend:

• Avoid alcohol 24 hours prior to your appointment

• Hold blood-thinning medications and supplements 3-5 days prior if medically appropriate

• Arrive with clean skin and completed consent forms

• Hydrate well prior to plasma treatments

• Maintaining a consistent skincare routine before treatment can support optimal healing and results

Your appointment will begin with a comprehensive consultation and facial assessment to determine the skin resurfacing treatment most appropriate to address your aesthetic goals.

1. Consultation - Ashley, NP injector, or Dr. K will assess goals, assess facial structure, skin health and laxity, or other treatment concerns.

2. Numbing - Prior to your skin resurfacing treatments a topical numbing agent is applied to minimize discomfort during your service

3. Treatment - With  SkinPen® Microneedling controlled microinjuries are created in the skin at different depths depending on treatment target.  Morpheus8® RF Microneedling combines the microinjuries with radiofrequency energy, delivered deep into the skin through microneedles. Regenerative enhancements such as plasma, PDRN, VAMP, exosomes and PDGF may be applied topically to accelerate healing, reduce inflammation, improve hydration and support more advanced skin regeneration.

   4. Post-care guidance - Avoid rubbing the treated area for 24 hours and avoid strenuous exercise for 24 hours. Temporary side effects may include: mild swelling, redness, tenderness, and bruising at the injection sites. SkinPen® Microneedling is associated with a downtime of 1-2 days where Morpheus8® RF Microneedling is associated with a lightly longer downtime of 3-4 days.

• Results begin: 1-2 weeks after initial treatment

• Full results/recovery: Collagen-stimulating effects begin showing at 4-6 weeks. For optimal results, most clients benefit from a series of 3 treatments with SkinPen® or Morpheus8® RF Microneedling to address treatment concerns. Sessions are scheduled 4-6 weeks apart depending on the area treated and individual goals.

• Longevity: variable depending on treatment target and patient lifestyle. Typically following a series of 3 treatments clients are recommended to continue with annual touch ups for optimal results.
